Extension of a farm, crating larger kitchen, living and dining room, two bedrooms with bathrooms.

PROJECT :

This project sprang fron the clients' desire to respect the draditional architecture of rural Brittany in the extension of their home. Thus the new stone work matches the existing stones.

The extension is joined to the existing building by a small entrance and is composed of two areas, the smaller of which houses utility rooms. 

The main space is characterised by two large angled windows, one giving a view of the sea, the other facing south to maximise the natural light in the living room.

Designed around this feature, the bedrooms on the first floor are triangular in shape.
